Native Fish Society Staff
Mike Moody, Executive Director
Mike came to NFS after refining his collaborative skills while serving as founding-president of an Oregon river conservation group consisting of more than forty-five public and private organizations.
Mike has an entrepreneurial and diversified business background. For more than twenty-five years he was an investor / developer of investment real estate. During that same time he built a leading real estate and investment education company. He has authored two non-published investment books. He has raised venture capital for start-up companies and was a co-founding shareholder of the west coast’s largest producer and marketer of organic potting soils and fertilizers.
Mike completed his undergraduate degree at Pomona, and has an MBA in finance from the University of Oregon.
When not working for wild fish Mike usually will still be found near water. He is an ardent albeit usually vexed fly fisherman. He is a life-long surfer, water skier, and snowboarder. He has been married to Ronda for nearly twenty years and interestingly has the “world’s eight most beautiful grandchildren.”
