Babine Steelhead Lodge
BABINE FOR A BENJAMIN - Raffle for the 2022 Season
A Joint Raffle to Benefit the Bakeoven Rehabilitation Project
Spend a week on the Babine River during the 2022 season for just $100!
In partnership with Deschutes River Alliance, we recently kicked off the Bakeoven Watershed Rehabilitation Project - a collaborative endeavor in a dedicated effort to remove invasive blackberries that decrease water flow on Bakeoven Creek.
An anonymous donor - a supporter of both Native Fish Society and Deschutes River Alliance - has generously donated their prime-time Babine Steelhead Lodge spot to our organizations. To leverage this donation, NFS and DRA have decided to raffle off this prime spot and use the funding to help fuel our shared missions of reviving the lower Deschutes River.
British Columbia's Babine River is the hallowed homewaters of some of the largest wild steelhead swimming on the planet. Don't miss this week-long dream trip, including guided fishing with some of the best guides around, delicious home-cooked meals, and tranquil river-side lodging, which could be yours for just $100! We're talking about your best (and most economical shot) at some of the best dry line (even dry fly) fishing anywhere.
Ticket sales will open Monday, September 13th. For those of you who purchased tickets before the date change, those tickets have rolled over to this updated drawing. Remember, only 250 tickets will be sold! Each entry is $100 and the lucky winner will be drawn on Friday, October 15th, at 3pm.
All proceeds from this raffle will support Native Fish Society and Deschutes River Alliance's collaborative conservation project to revive the lower Deschutes. Learn more about this unique project HERE.
