Lange Estate Fly Line Partnership
A Match Made On The River...
Lange Winery founders, Don and Wendy Lange began their friendship with Tom Derry - Native Fish Society’s Director of Steelhead Funding - in the late 1980s while exploring the Metolius River in Camp Sherman, OR. Tom and Connie Derry were running the legendary Kokanee Cafe at the time, and the couples soon became fast friends and fishing buddies - a relationship that endures to this day. With Tom's passion and involvement with NFS, it was only natural for Lange Estate to partner with the organization.
In addition to their involvement with Native Fish Society, the Lange’s farm all of their vineyard acreage in accordance with Pacific Northwest-based environmental stewardship organizations Salmon-Safe and LIVE. As a Salmon-Safe Certified operation, Lange Estate joins fellow winegrowers in actively reducing and mitigating hillside runoff and enhancing the biodiversity of their vineyard sites. Their LIVE certification ensures that their farming standards meet the criteria of Low Impact Viticulture and Enology and further demonstrates their commitment to responsible and sustainable farming.
Until the end of July, Lange Estate is running a special promotion for their Fly Line Society Membership. Folks that join this convenient and affordable wine subscription will receive personalized wine selections shipped directly to their home or office every six to eight weeks. Your welcome shipment will include two of Lange's Classique wines, two Lange Winery / Native Fish Society logo'd stemless glasses, and a complimentary one-year membership to Native Fish Society. Not to mention $5 flat rate shipping and a 5% discount on all subscription selections.
Our organization depends on businesses like Lange Estate to help us continue the hard work needed to revive wild, native fish, free-flowing cold rivers, and thriving communities. Please support those that support us and raise a glass to wild abundance!
