Join us for a Lunch & Learn presentation on Wednesday, February 10 at 12:00 - 12:45 PM featuring Native Fish Fellow and professional drone pilot Nick Wagner as he shares about his work utilizing drones to advance our efforts to reform steep slope logging in Oregon's coast range.
Utilizing his professional expertise, Nick surveyed two landslides in the Tillimook State Forest by drone and created 3D models to measure the amount of sediment that was delivered to streams below. Nick's work has been a key part of the NFS Landslides to Logjams campaign focused on addressing the impacts of landslides caused by logging on threatened Oregon Coast Coho Salmon.
Nick will share a 20 minute presentation on his efforts followed by 20 minutes of Q&A and discussion.
Join us to learn more about this effort and how you can get involved in our work to reform forest practices to revive Oregon Coast Coho Salmon. The event is free. Please RSVP to save your virtual seat!
We look forward to gathering virtually with our community to continue our journey as stewards and keepers of the wild.
