SRBWC Summer Picnic - July 29th

We look forward to this year's annual summer picnic on Saturday, July 29th at the former Marmot Dam site. Did you know this is the 10th year since the dam here was removed?

In preparation for our free Sandy-versary on October 19th, we will offer an educational tour of the former dam site. SRBWC will provide food and drinks, but feel free to bring a salad or side dish. If you haven't already, please RSVP to katherine@sandyriver.org

If you are interested in floating the Sandy River prior to the main event, we are also considering hosting an optional river float from the Sandy-Salmon confluence. Please contact Steve Wise (swise@sandyriver.org or 503-622-9134) for more information.

10:30AM: Interpretive tour of the former Marmot Dam site
11:30AM: Removal of "DAM AHEAD" sign from site
With a ceremonial float through the former dam location
