Volunteer Opportunity! Kalama River Cleanup
Join us from 9am - Noon on July 23rd to clean up the Kalama River! The Kalama River is a tributary to the Lower Columbia River and provides important spawning habitat for steelhead and cutthroat trout.
We will provide all tools, gloves, and garbage bags, along with a post-cleanup lunch for all volunteers!
Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and come with a filled water bottle.
No special training is necessary and all ages and ability levels are welcomed. Fuel assistance is available. Please contact NFS Washington Coordinator, J. Michelle Swope (jmichelle@nativefishsociety.org) for more information.
We hope you’ll join us! Sign up online here to support this project contributing to the health of the river.
