John has been a resident in the Portland metropolitan area since 1984. Now retired, he spent 40 years in commercial banking and finance working with a wide variety of client’s for both national and regional institutions. Mikenis holds an MBA from Portland State University and an undergraduate accounting degree from Bradley University. In retirement, he enjoys his two grandchildren, camping in his Teardrop trailer, and sampling the wide variety of fishing experiences available in our State.
He hopes to advocate practically for fish, conservation, and the environment by seeking common ground with the many constituents who have a shared interest in protecting our communities and resources for future generations.
