Far eastern end of Indian Head Casino Parking Lot

Get warmed up for Earth Day by joining River Steward Matt Mendes for a trash clean-up on the lower Deschutes River!

We'll start out the day with some coffee and donuts at 10am at the eastern end of the Indian Head Casino parking lot in Warm Springs. We'll then consolidate cars (higher clearance, 4WD vehicles recommended) and follow Matt to some locations along the lower Deschutes that could use some cleaning up.

This will be a great opportunity to see the Deschutes from the tribal side, give back to a place we all love so much, and hear all about Matt's other stewardship activities, such as angler education and youth outreach.

Snacks, water, and garbage bags will be provided along with coffee and donuts in the morning. Wear sturdy footwear, long pants, and bring a pair of gloves. Please register here so we're prepared for you!

If you have questions or would like more information, please reach out to Northern Oregon Coordinator Liz Perkin at liz@nativefishsociety.org.
