Join us for a fun, family-friendly event on the beautiful Umpqua River! Hosted at Eagleview Group Campground, this event will help remove smallmouth bass from the river and raise awareness of the problems these invasive fish cause for native fish and the Umpqua River. We have reserved the campground for the nights of Friday, June 27, and Saturday, June 28. All participants are welcome to stay (BYO camping equipment!) for either or both nights, and take advantage of the opportunity to spend time outside and get your fish on!

On June 28, anglers and participants will engage in a fun day full of fishing for Smallmouth Bass and a short presentation regarding native fish, including the harmful effects of Smallmouth Bass and other invasive species. Then, we'll have a group fish fry, with a raffle, prizes, food, and a great time!

Please register and let us know if you will be attending so we can prepare for food and beverages.

Mark your calendars for June 28th, and stay tuned for more details soon! We hope you'll join us!

If you have any questions or want to learn more about this event, don't hesitate to contact our NFS Southern Oregon Coordinator Charles Gehr at charles@nativefishsociety.org today!
