Join Native Fish Society and Molalla River Watch for a fun, family-friendly event on the beautiful Molalla River for anglers and community alike! This is a truly top-to-bottom chance to care for a special river, where in one day, after a sure-to-be busy holiday weekend, we’ll spend a few hours removing trash from along its banks before removing harmful Smallmouth bass from the waters of the Molalla.
So join us for this celebration of stewardship of the Molalla River. Thanks to our gracious hosts at this new venue, the bass fishing should be off-the-charts and after a short presentation sharing the latest news on the harmful effects of Smallmouth bass and other warm water invasive species, we’ll have a group fish fry, barbecue and a raffle!
Registration is required to let us know if you will be attending so we can prepare for food and beverages.
NOTE: This RSVP form is for folks interested in attending the clean up AND the bass fishing portions of the event (or, JUST the fishing.) IF you are only able to, or interested in participating in the clean-up, please RSVP with Molalla River Watch through this link.
Sign up and mark your calendars for July 12th, and stay tuned for more details soon! We hope you'll join us! If you have any questions or want to learn more about this event, don't hesitate to contact our NFS Northern Oregon Coordinator Daniel Ritz at daniel@nativefishsociety.org today!
