Old Bridge Trailhead, Molalla, OR

Want to get your hands dirty and help wild, native fish? Join Us for a Native Fish Habitat Restoration Event!

Would you like to contribute to Native Fish Society’s largest habitat restoration project ever? Want to see engineered large wood jams in the upper Molalla River first-hand? Then join us for a day of replanting along the Molalla River in February!

Volunteer Opportunity Details: We're seeking about 15-20 volunteers to help us get as many native plants in the ground on the area we disturbed when we added large wood to the mainstem Molalla with heavy machinery during the restoration project last summer.

What to bring: Make sure to wear rain gear, sturdy boots, and work gloves.

What we’ll provide: Plants, planting tools, coffee and hot chocolate, and food to keep you energized!

When: 10am to 3pm, Saturday, February 22nd

Where: We’ll meet at the Old Bridge Trailhead, just past where Rooster Rock Rd splits from the Middlefork Rd in the Molalla River Recreation Corridor. We’ll caravan up to the project site nearby from there.

Join us for a rewarding experience as we come together to restore and preserve the vital habitat of wild, native fish along the Molalla River. Your hands-on contribution will make a lasting impact on the Molalla Restoration Project, and we look forward to having you on board!

Please RSVP in advance so we can bring enough refreshments for everyone!
