As the program manager of Salmon Watch at the World Salmon Council, Nick provides hands-on environmental education to the youth of Portland. One big step from his previous career as a computer engineer at Intel Corporation, in pursuit of his passions for education and conservation.

Propelled by the reality of climate change and extinctions at the hands of humans, Nick is driven to harness education, as well as technology, for good.

And now, in collaboration with the Native Fish Society to further our collective impacts. Nick envisions drones, computer vision, and machine-learning technology as tools to provide actionable data towards the effort of saving imperiled fish and the watersheds we all call home.
