Build. Educate. Inspire. Activate
Native Fish Society’s Regional Chapters bring together people who care deeply about wild, native fish and the rivers they call home. Our chapters are local hubs for learning, connection, and action – building a community-powered groundswell for wild fish recovery across the Pacific Northwest.
Chapters are open to anyone who wants to get involved, whether you’re an angler, river lover, scientist, student, or simply someone who values healthy rivers and thriving ecosystems. All are welcome to join!
Build
Expand the groundswell at a local level by bringing together people who are committed to taking action for wild fish and addressing the issues threatening their ability to thrive in local waters.
Educate
Learn about local watersheds, native fish populations, the challenges they face, and ways to take action.
Inspire
Build a connection to place through field trips, river cleanups, guest speakers, community gatherings, and more.
Activate
Support advocacy, public engagement, and conservation actions that protect and restore wild fish and their homewaters.
Most chapters host quarterly gatherings in a town-hall style format at establishments of local partners, featuring:
River Stewards and local experts
Updates on regional conservation issues
Opportunities to take action for wild fish
Time to connect with others who care about rivers
Wild fish and river activities (think fly-tying nights, or conservation trivia!)
And more!
All meetings are open to the public and welcome both longtime advocates and those just getting involved!
Each chapter focuses on the rivers and fish of its region:
