Bids for Wild Fish: Catch of the Summer Success!

Posted:

Thank You for Making Our First Catch of the Summer Auction a Success!

Our most sincere thank you to everyone who placed bids, donated items or experiences, or helped spread the word. Your generosity made this event one to remember as we closed out the summer season - and this auction truly wouldn't have been possible without your support!

Thank you all for investing in wild, native fish, free-flowing rivers, and thriving local communities throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Because of your bids, we can continue to advance our conservation campaigns across the region: For example:

  • On the Deschutes, our Salmonfly Project studies changing insect communities, and our bioenergetics modeling helps predict how river conditions affect wild fish survival - both helping guide policies that put wild, native fish first.

  • On the Molalla, our community-wide coalition restored 3 miles of cold-water habitat by installing 14 log jams to create critical refuge for native fish - the most significant restoration in the river’s history! This project supports ESA-listed winter steelhead and spring Chinook in the free-flowing Molalla River, and helps provide clean drinking water to the communities downstream.

Your generosity makes all of this possible. Thank you for standing with us in the name of wild fish!
