The Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission is undergoing a major shift–five out of seven commissioner seats will be filled by gubernatorial appointment this year. This is our chance to ensure strong representation for fish and wildlife conservation on the commission!
What is the Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission?
The commission plays a critical role in managing and protecting Oregon's fish and wildlife. Commissioners establish hunting and fishing seasons, bag limits, and policies that directly impact the health of our fish and wildlife populations and their habitats.
Who Are We Looking For?
We need passionate individuals committed to science-based fish and wildlife conservation. Ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of Oregon's ecosystems and a strong desire to ensure their sustainability for future generations.
