NFS Wildfire Relief Fund

We all know someone who has somehow been affected by the wildfires that are blazing across Oregon, Washington, California, and Idaho—be it loss of property, livelihood, or life. These fires have impacted the very soul of the wild fish community.

We believe in our hearts that we must give back to those who have given so much to us. Communities across the Northwest are grappling with loss and some still face immediate danger. Our kindness and generosity are needed to support a swift response and contribute to the long-term recovery for our neighbors in crisis.

To assist in the relief our community so desperately needs, we’ve created the NFS Wildfire Relief Fund. From now until October 16th, 2020, all tax-deductible donations made to the NFS Wildfire Relief Fund through our online giving portal will, in turn, be donated to four non-profits assisting in the relief effort in communities that Native Fish Society also serves. These include the Oregon Community Foundation, the California Community Foundation, American Red Cross, and the Pacific Northwest Wildfire Relief & Recovery Fund.

To amplify your giving, the NFS Board of Directors will match all donations to the NFS Wildfire Relief Fund up to $4,000.
