Recap - Bull Trout eDNA

Posted:

Native Fish Society hosted a lunch and learn featuring Bull Trout eDNA testing with River Steward Jodi Wilmoth on Thursday October, 29th. The presentation included a brief overview of eDNA, the status of Bull Trout in the Pacific Northwest, and a recap of sampling that took place in early October!

Jodi has been testing the waters of central Oregon over the past year for any sign of Bull Trout eDNA. Listen to the full presentation below as she shares her experiences and how the samples will help fuel future conservation in the watersheds of central Oregon. If you have any further questions, feel free to email Kirk Blaine at kirk@nativefishsociety.org.
