Protecting wild fish across the Mid-Columbia.
The Gorge Chapter of the Native Fish Society gathers quarterly to discuss issues related to wild fish, healthy rivers, and sustainable fisheries from the Sandy River to the John Day River in Oregon, as well as Washington residents interested in Mid-Columbia tributaries from as far west as the Washougal to the Klickitat River.
NFS Gorge Chapter gatherings operate in a town-hall style format, generally to include opportunities to engage NFS staff, but more importantly, to hear and learn from River Stewards, place-based subject matter experts, and community members working together to conserve, protect, and sustain our beloved native fish populations.
All meetings are open to the public and welcome both longtime advocates and those just getting involved!
